# Accounting Specialist at Nila Breeding Center
* Financial Record Management: Precisely recording all financial transactions and meticulously preparing comprehensive financial statements.
* Cost Accounting & Analysis:
* Calculating detailed cultivation costs, encompassing expenditures for feed, fish seeds, and general operational overheads.
* Determining the Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) specific to our Nila breeding cycles.
* Inventory & Asset Monitoring: Diligently tracking inventory levels and overseeing biological assets, specifically the fish stock within our ponds.
* Partnership & Profit Sharing: Managing financial records pertaining to our partnerships and the accurate distribution of profit-sharing schemes.
* Operational Control: Implementing robust cost control measures and conducting thorough variance analyses to identify and address operational discrepancies.
* Performance Reporting: Generating detailed profit reports for each pond and per cultivation cycle, offering clear insights into performance.
* Strategic Support: Providing critical financial data and analyses to support informed management decision-making processes.
## Essential Qualifications
To excel in this role, we require a candidate who possesses a strong foundation in accounting coupled with a proactive approach.
Educational Background & Professional Experience
* Hold a Bachelor's degree (S1) in Accounting or Finance.
* Possess a minimum of one year of hands-on experience in Accounting or Costing roles.
Technical & Analytical Acumen
* Demonstrable understanding of financial statements and the calculation of Cost of Goods Sold (COGS).
* Proficiency in operating Microsoft Excel for data analysis and various accounting software.
* Exemplary attention to detail, strong analytical capabilities, and effective communication skills are paramount.
Sector-Specific Understanding
* A genuine willingness to comprehend the practicalities of field operations within fish farming (aquaculture).
* Advantageous Experience: Prior experience in the fisheries or manufacturing sector will be considered a significant advantage.

This position is based full-time at our dedicated Nila Breeding Center.
