## The Role: Production Engineer
As a Production Engineer at PT Daisho Precision, you will be instrumental in bridging the gap between design, manufacturing, and operational efficiency. You will oversee daily production workflows, implement quality control measures, and lead process optimization strategies to ensure the factory operates at peak performance.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
* Production & Maintenance Scheduling: Formulate comprehensive, detailed production timelines and coordinate preventive machinery maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
* Process Monitoring & Evaluation: Oversee, assess, and streamline daily manufacturing workflows to ensure all output targets are met safely and on schedule.
* Efficiency Optimization: Conduct deep-dive analyses on production line productivity and propose data-driven initiatives to boost overall process efficiency.
* Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Create, evaluate, and update step-by-step Work Instructions and production parameters to maintain operational consistency.
* Troubleshooting & Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Identify production bottlenecks and mechanical issues, perform root cause analyses, and implement effective corrective actions.
* Performance Reporting: Generate detailed performance reports with actionable recommendations for continuous process improvement.
* Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure all factory operations align strictly with standard operating procedures, strict internal quality standards, and company regulations.
* Cross-Department Collaboration: Partner closely with maintenance, logistics, and quality assurance teams to guarantee seamless operational synergy.
Candidate Qualifications and Requirements
To succeed in this role, candidates must demonstrate strong technical expertise, analytical thinking, and a proactive mindset. The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:
* Educational Background: Minimum of a Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
* Professional Experience: At least 3 years of hands-on experience working as a Production Engineer within the manufacturing sector.
* Management Systems: Sound understanding and practical knowledge of ISO 9001 (Quality Management System) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System) standards.
* Process Improvement Expertise: Demonstrated experience in implementing Continuous Improvement methodologies such as Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, or similar production frameworks.
* Technical Knowledge: Strong familiarity with manufacturing processes, heavy production machinery, and fundamental maintenance principles.
* Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving capabilities, with proven experience conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and productivity measurements.
* Software Proficiency: Highly proficient in using Microsoft Office applications, with advanced capabilities in Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
* Soft Skills: Outstanding communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cohesively in team settings as well as independently.
