* 1965: Established as Sumber Makmur, a private home industry.
* Expansion to Tangerang: The original facilities in Jakarta were eventually outgrown, necessitating a transition to a new manufacturing plant on Jalan Merdeka, Tangerang.
* Corporate Formalization: In 1980, the company rebranded as PT. Sumber Makmur Bahagia to accommodate rapid growth, followed by the establishment of a larger facility in the Jatake industrial area.
* Nationwide Reach: Beginning in 1981, the company expanded its footprint with service offices in Bandung, followed by Surabaya, Cirebon, Semarang, and various locations across the Indonesian archipelago.
* Modern Rebranding: To better align with the competitive demands of the global free-market era, the company officially transitioned to its current name, PT. SEIV Indonesia, in 2013.
